Space cuisine: Beyond freeze-dried ice cream

"Space food" has progressed well beyond the classic freeze-dried ice cream or dehydrated fruit. Nowadays, space chefs cook meals like those we're used to, only they have to tailor them to the zero-gravity environment. Astronauts eat tortillas rather than bread because bread crumbs could interfere with sensitive onboard equipment.
